ASME SA266 GR.2N FK Carbon Steel Tubesheets And Channel Cover Flanges
ASTM A266 is the standard specification for carbon steel forgings for pressure vessel components. It covers four grades of carbon steel forgings for boilers, pressure vessels, and associated equipment: Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, and Grade 4. The UNS number designation for each grade is K03506(Gr.1), K03506 (Gr.2), K05001 (Gr.3), and K03017(Gr.4), respectively. A Tubesheet is a plate or sheet which is perforated with a pattern of holes designed to accept tubes. These tubesheets are used to support and isolate tubes in heat exchangers and boilers or to support filter elements. Depending on the application, a tubesheet may be made of various metals. Tubesheets may be used in pairs in heat exchange applications or singularly when supporting elements in a filter.
