ASTM B338 Gr. 7 Titanium Alloy Seamless Tubes are choosed owing to its superior corrosion resistance and strength-to-weight ratio. The development of many different alloys has extended the application of titanium in industries ranging from industrial and chemical processing to power generation.
ASTM B338 Grade 7 titanium tube is mechanically and physically the same as CP 2 grade titanium, but due to the addition of palladium to Grade 7 titanium, it is the most corrosion-resistant of all titanium alloys. Grade 7 titanium tubes are widely used in heat exchange equipment such as tubular heat exchangers, coil heat exchangers, serpentine tube heat exchangers, condensing evaporators and transport piping. Many nuclear power industries use Grade 7 titanium tubes as standard tubes for their equipment.
Features: low density, high specific strength, excellent corrosive resistance, no rust, good thermal stability, good thermal conductivity, biological features, plasticity, etc.
Inspection & Test: ultrasonic testing (UT), electric non-destructive testing (ET), flaring test, hydrostatic test, flattening test, visual surface inspection, dimensional inspection, tensile properties inspection and chemical elements analysis.
