ASTM A213 TP444 Stainless Steel Seamless U Tube
Compared to straight tubes, U bend tubes offer the flexibility to build a more compact system. Typically used in heat exchanger applications, the Stainless Steel U Bend Tube is ideal for applications including heat and elevated pressure levels. In high temperature environments, straight tubes would be connected using an expansion joint. Not considering thermal expansion for straight tubes would have a disastrous causal effect on the applications.
TP444 is a dual stabilised, low carbon, molybdenum containing ferritic stainless steel with toughness, good ductility and resistance to sensitisation. This steel should not be used in the welded condition for dynamic or impact loaded structures, because it has limited weldability. TP444 has good pitting resistanceis so it's suitable for roofing and cladding in marine environments, heat exchanger tubes and food processing equipments, etc..
