ASTM A269 TP316L Stainless Steel Seamless Tubes
ASTM A269 TP316L Stainless Steel Tubes are the low carbon version of TP316. With the addition of molybdenum, the steel is popular for use in severe corrosion environments due to the materials immunity from boundary carbide precipitation.
What is the difference between SS316 and SS316L tube?
316L stainless steel is almost identical to 316. The only difference is their carbon content. SS316L's lower carbon content imparts better corrosion resistance than SS316. SS316L does not require post-weld annealing.
