ASTM A213 TP316L Stainless Steel Seamless Tubes
ASME SA213 TP316L is a specification of Heat Exchanger Tube produced from the 316L austenitic stainless steel. The ASME SA213 standard covers tubes for heat exchangers in ferritic and austenitic steels. The ASME SA213 TP316L is a lower carbon version of the 316 material. Thus, the SA213 TP316L has more toughness but less strength compared to the TP316 pipes.
TP316L Stainless Steel Pipe is an extra-low carbon version of the TP316 steel alloy. TP316L Stainless Steel Tube is durable, corrosion resistant, and is a good choice for high-stress situations. Compared to chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels, TP316L Tube offers higher creep, stress to rupture and tensile strength at elevated temperatures. TP316L SS tubes are commonly used in chemical and petrochemical industry, food processing, pharmaceutical equipment, wastewater treatment, marine applications, etc..
