ASTM A213 TP310S Stainless Steel Seamless Tube
TP310S (UNS S31008) is used when the application environment involves moist corrodents in a temperature range lower than that which is normally considered "high temperature" service. The lower carbon content of TP310S reduces its high temperature strength compared to TP310.
ASTM A213 TP310S seamless tubes are made from austenitic stainless steel 25Cr-20Ni, which is higher in chromium and nickel. They have very high resistance to corrosion and oxidation at elevated temperature. Therefore, TP310S seamless tube can be used for the construction of boilers, superheaters, and heat exchangers working at elevated temperatures in moderately oxidizing conditions.
