AISI 431, 1.4057 Stainless Steel Shaft For Marine System
AISI 431 is a high chromium martensitic stainless steel which has a high yield strength and excellent corrosion resistance within both organic and industrial environments. AISI431 stainless steel is martensitic, heat-treatable grade with good corrosion resistance, torque strength, high toughness and tensile properties. All these properties make them ideal for bolt and shaft applications. They are suitable for operations such as spinning, deep drawing, bending or cold heading.
AISI 431 Stainless Steel Shaft has excellent resistance against pitting and crevice corrosion. These stainless steel shafts are reliable and have a long service life, making it an ideal choice while selecting a shaft for any application. The AISI 431 Stainless Steel Shaft offers a dimensionally accurate element, which can be fitted in a piece of equipment easily. These stainless steel shafts are preferred in low to medium corrosive systems. It has good finish which has rigid strength and exceptional characteristics.
