ASTM A182 F317 F317L Stainless Steel Blind Raised Face Flange
ASTM A182 F317L Stainless Steel Flanges are made up of an austenitic stainless steel with 18% chromium and 11% nickel in the composition along with carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus and up to 4% molybdenum in the composition. The F317 Stainless Steel Blind Flanges have more corrosion resistance than the F316 material made flanges.
These F317/317L SS Flanges are a low carbon versions of flanges. This Flange is a molybdenum bearing, low carbon content grade austenitic stainless steel which provides improved corrosion resistance. The low carbon content permits these flanges to be welded without sensitization to inter granular corrosion.
