ASTM A403 WP316L S31603 Stainless Steel Seamless Reducer
ASTM A403 WP316L Fittings are wrought austenitic stainless steel fittings that are intended for high pressure applications. The material is good for corrosion resistance.Stainless Steel 316L Pipe Fittings are used to fit pipe components together. There are various types and shapes made in different standards. The 316L is a material composition with 16% chromium, 10% nickel and 2-3% molybdenum with less than 0.03% carbon in it. It is easy to weld and produces less carbide precipitation while welding compared to the 316 material.
The 316L Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings are preferred for sea water, marine and other high corrosive applications. The fittings can range in shapes, size and types. There are different standards such as the ASTM B16.9. The welding fittings range from ½ inches to 48 inches where the seamless fittings range only up to 10 inches. The smaller pipe fittings are generally stronger.
