ASTM A182 F304 Stainless Steel Socket Weld Elbow
ASTM A182 F304 Socket Weld Fitting is a pipe attachment detail in which a pipe is inserted into a recessed area of a Valve, fitting or flange. Compared to Buttweld Fittings, Socket Weld Fittings are mainly used for small Pipe Diameters, generally for Piping whose Nominal Diameter is NPS 2 or smaller.
F304 Stainless Steel Forged Fittings are designed with a superior chemical composition of 18/8 chromium and nickel content which enable the fittings to work in pressurized conditions and influence their characteristics across harsh conditions. The 304 Stainless Steel Forged Fittings possess enhanced mechanical properties with outstanding fatigue strength. 304 Stainless Steel Forged Fittings can be produced in a hot or cold rolling process. These fittings have enhanced surface porosity and have excellent grain structure. They possess enhanced durability.
