ASTM A815 UNS S31803 Duplex Steel Reducing Tees are a unique blend of steel alloy that combines the best qualities of both ferritic and austenitic steels. This steel has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking due to its high chromium and molybdenum content. It also has exceptional strength, durability, and weldability. Its unique composition consists of a nominal 22% Chromium and 5% Nickel, with other trace elements such as Copper and Molybdenum included. UNS S31803 Duplex Steel Reducing Tees provide superior performance in various functions and industries.
UNS S31803 Duplex Steel Reducing Tees are corrosion-resistant, strong and durable alloys perfect for applications in harsh environments. These tees has high chromium and molybdenum content, enabling them to be effectively resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking and pitting. Thus, they are usually used in chemical processes, pulp and paper production, heat exchanger systems and flue gas desulfurization plants. The tees also offer excellent weldability properties and outstanding resistance against oxidation at elevated temperatures.
