ASTM B564 UNS N08825 Nickel Alloy WNRF Flange
Incoloy 825 Flanges are made up of nickel chromium alloy which has 38% nickel and 19% chromium in the composition along with carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, copper, iron, aluminum and titanium for stabilization. The UNS N08825 Flanges vary in dimensions and sizes with different specifications. The flanges vary in type such as slip on flanges, weld neck flanges, socket weld flanges and blind flanges.
The additions of copper and molybdenum increase the resistance of ASTM B564 UNS N08825 Flanges to general stress corrosion as well as to specific attacks such as crevice corrosion. The alloy is known particularly for its resistance to acids.
