Alloy 625, Inconel 625 Flange, UNS N06625 Flange is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with high strength, high toughness and excellent corrosion resistance. The strength of Alloy 625, UNS N06625 is due to the hardening effect of molybdenum and niobium on its nickel-chromium matrix. Although this alloy was developed for high temperature strength, its highly alloyed composition also provides a significant level of general corrosion resistance.
Alloy 625 Flanges, Inconel 625 Flanges, UNS N06625 Flanges are used in a variety of industries including automotive, marine, aerospace, oil and gas, chemical processing, and nuclear energy. Typical end-use applications include heat exchangers, bellows, expansion joints, exhaust systems, fasteners, quick connect fittings and many other applications that require strength and resistance to corrosive corrosive environments.
Inconel 625, Alloy 625 is a low carbon (0.03%) nickel chromium molybdenum niobium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance to a variety of corrosive media. Alloy 625 is normally supplied in the annealed condition for wet corrosion applications and is TÜV certified for use in pressure vessels in the temperature range of -196°C to 450°C. In the annealed condition (Grade 1) alloy 625 is characterized by:
– good mechanical properties
– Resistant to chlorine-induced stress corrosion cracking
– High resistance to inorganic acids such as nitric, phosphoric, sulfuric and hydrochloric
– Good resistance to alkalis and organic acids
– Excellent resistance to pitting, crevice, erosion and intergranular corrosion
