What is UNS N08367 material?
ASTM B366 UNS N08367 is a Superaustenitic 6% molybdenum alloy that shows much greater resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking than the standard 300 series stainless steel and duplex stainless steel. Alloy AL6XN (UNS N08367) is a low carbon, high purity, nitrogen-bearing Ssuper-Austenitic Stainless Steel. The AL6XN alloy is resistant to corrosive environments. UNS N08367 also commonly referred to as Alloy AL6XN alloy is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion. UNS N08367 retains high ductility and impact strength. UNS N08367 has been used for heat exchangers, chemical process tanks and pipelines, offshore oil and gas production equipments.
