ASTM B366 Hastelloy C22 Nickel Alloy Weldolet
Weldolets are known as branch connection fittings which are used to provide an outlet from a larger pipe to a smaller one. The pipe to which the branch association gives a channel is normally called the Branch or Outlet measure. Weldolet is a type of fitting used to create a branch with the smaller size of main pipe. Weldolet are usually used in piping with high pressure and temperature where the connection with the joint type buttweld.
ASTM B366 Hastelloy C22 Olet is the most typical of all branches connections, and it is welded onto the outlet pipe. The ends are beveled, and thus the weldolet is considered as a butt-weld fitting. Hastelloy C22 Weldolet are designed to reduce stress concentrations and supply integral reinforcement.
