ASTM A179 AL1060 CS Embedded G-Type Fin Tube
A Fin Tube is a tube that has fins around the outside surface of the base tube. These fins act as a filter to transfer heat from the material inside the tube to the outside space or from outside to the inside. Fin tubes are used in applications that require a heat transfer from a hot fluid to a colder fluid through the tube's wall.
G type Embedded Spiral Fin Tube is processed from a certain width in the steel tube and spiral groove depth, then inlays the fins on the base tube by the equipment. In winding process, as the pre-tightening force to a certain extent so the fins will be firmly in the spiral groove, ensuring that there is a certain contact area between fins and the base tube. In order to prevent the fins falling off the base tube, the two ends of the fins need to weld onto the tube. In order to set easily, a certain clearance between steel belt and spiral groove is necessary.
