ASTM A182 F44/Alloy 254SMO Duplex Steel WNRF Flange
F44 is an austenitic stainless steel which is usually used in the seawater and other aggressive chloride-bearing medias. This grade has excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, high resistance to general corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, with a higher strength than conventional austenitic stainless steels, and good weldabilit.

ASTM A182 F44 Flange is material to F44 Super Austenitic Stainless Steel which is also described as a 6% Mo Flanges Super Austenitic Stainless Steel. This steel combines moderate mechanical strength and high ductility with excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and a variety of industrial environments. In addition, the steel provides good resistance to crevice corrosion.
