WPHY60 means that the minimum yield strength of the ASTM A860 WPHY60 Fittings is 60ksi. This material has carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, chromium, nickel and vanadium, niobium, titanium and aluminum in the composition.
ASTM A860 WPHY 42 / 46/ 52 / 56 / 60 / 65 / 70 is the material grade for High Yield Carbon Steel Butt Weld Pipe Fittings. ASTM A860 Carbon Steel Fittings are known for their high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. High grade material WPHY60 is more durable and cost-effective. It is appropriate to apply them in the high pressure gas and oil transportation systems.
