ASTM A789/A789M ASME SA789/SA789M UNS S32760 1.4501 F55 Super Duplex Steel U Bend Tube is widely used in equipment for the oil & gas industry, on offshore platforms, in heat exchangers, chemical processing, pressure vessels and boilers as well as in the petrochemical industry and desalination plants, including seawater piping.

UNS S32760 is a Super Duplex stainless steel equivalent to A182 F55 with a microstructure of 50:50 austenite and ferrite. The high chromium and molybdenum content of Super Duplex makes S32760 extremely resistant to uniform corrosion by both organic and inorganic acids – especially those containing chloride. The higher than average molybdenum and chromium content also gives UNS S32760 greater heat resistance quality and is also designed, as a Super Duplex alloy stainless steel, to feature high tensile & yield strength, pitting resistance, strong weldability, resistance to stress corrosion cracking, erosion & crevice corrosion and corrosion fatigue and good toughness.

Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe Application:

Process :
1 . We use Cold Rolled and Cold Drawn techonology to produce U bend tube
2 . U bend tube produce will in accordance with the customer's drawings
3 . To avoid oxidation, inert gas (Argon) is passed through tubes ID at the required flow rate
4 . The radius is checked for its OD and wall thinning with the recommended specification
5 . We'll choose three different positions or as customer's request to make sure of the tubes quality. We'll test mechnical properties and micro-structure tests
6 . Visual inspection for witness and cracks will be done with Dye Penetrant Test
7 . Each tube shall be done Eddy current test and Hydrostatic test at the recommended pressure to check for leakage
Technical Requirements.
Straight Tubes Standard Specification For Bending:
ASME SA 213; ASME SB 163; ASME A789, ASME SA268, ASME SA269, etc.
Marking: Before Bending By Marking Machine All Over The Tube Length (Bent Section After Heat Treatment Without Marking)
Note: Marking is also possible After bending on the straight parts of U bend Tube.

Customer Specifications.
Bending Radius: From 1.5*OD(Outside Diameter) To 1500mm
When Ordering Tubes With Radius less or equal to 1.5*OD, It Is Necessary To Agree Precision Of Geometrics.
Straight Tubes Maximum Length:(Before Bending): 35000 mm.
Leg Length: Min 1 Meter, Max. 16500 mm (For Max R=1500mm)
Note: Other Sizes are available upon agreement between customers and us.
Heat Treatment: Stress Relieved After U-Bending (Bending Area Plus 300MM For Each Leg).
Hydrostatic Test After U Bending: Maximum Test Pressure 600 Bar, Soaking 10 Sec. With
Dematerialized Water. Compressed Air Cleaning After Hydro-Test.
Packaging: In Strong Transport-Worthy Pre-fumigated wooden boxes of corresponding dimensions for each tube Length, Radius, Diameter, According To PO requirements as well as wrapped In polyethylene films With soft plastic caps on both end of Tube.
