A tubesheet is a plate which is used to support the tubes in a shell-and-tube heat exchanger. The tubes are aligned in a parallel way, and supported and held in place by tubesheets. The tubesheet is a circular plate which is perforated so that the tubes can just fit through the holes. Depending on the tube bundle configuration, a shell-and-tube heat exchanger can be equipped with one or two tubesheets. ASTM A182 F316L Stainless Steel Forged Tubesheets are durable, corrosion resistant and high-temperature resistant. So these stainless steel tubesheets are widely used for applications like shell and tube heat exchangers, chemical industry, oil and gas plant, boilers, condensers, marine equipments and so on.
