ASTM B861 Gr.2/UNS R50400 Titanium Alloy Seamless Pipe
Titanium Grade 2 Pipe is made up of pure or unalloyed titanium. The Gr.2 pipe has standard oxygen in its content. ASTM B861 Gr.2 pipe could be readily welded. It also has excellent strength and ductility. The natural strength of the metal is used in applications that require extremely high strength and the corrosion resistance is used for long-lasting appliances. Although the most using cases are in industrial standards, the Ti Gr.2 Seamless Pipe could also be used in aesthetic applications and domestic applications. The cost is very high due to the raw material cost and production costs. The commercially pure CP Gr.2 Titanium Welded Pipe has more than 99% titanium in it. They could be cold drawn as Titanium Gr.2 Seamless Pipe or be hot rolled into welded pipes. They are used in high temperature applications such as the Titanium Grade 2 Exhaust Pipe and can remain in form due to their high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion rate and high oxidation resistance under high temperatures.
