General Description:
The stainless steel needle or hypodermic tubing is a thin wall grade designed to tight tolerances. A stainless steel needle tube is a small diameter tube that is used for injection under the skin. These tubes are ideal for medical applications where corrosion resistance, uniformity and strength are at the highest level. SS needle tubes show superior strength and have a tensile strength of 1030mpa to 1370mpa. These tubes are a common feature in medical applications, medical device manufacturing, and medical services.
The Stainless Steel Seamless Needle Tube is produced via an extrusion process. The absence of welds or seams in these tubes gives them enhanced strength and excellent tolerance across an array of stress-induced setups. These tubes are commonly designed in 304 and 316 configurations. SS 304 Hypodermic Needle Tubing is designed with a superior chemical composition of nickel and chromium. Designed with an outer diameter between 0.042 to 0.095OD, they have good tolerance to different conditions. The 316 Stainless Steel Needle Tubing have a superior content of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum, giving them enhanced resistance to corrosive and oxidative media when compared to standard 304 tubes across harsh environmental conditions. We can custom design all our products in different shapes and sizes as per customer requirements.
