Hastelloy C22 Fittings are said to resist stress related corrosion cracking. Alloy C22 Fittings are widely used in food processing equipment, pickling components, plate heat exchangers, and sulfur oxide cooling towers. Furthermore, Hastelloy C22 Butt weld Fittings are also used in marine and nuclear processing,heat exchangers, chemical processing, and sulfonating systems. Hastelloy C22 Elbow is therefore used in high temperature applications.
The Hastelloy C22 Elbows comes in different sizes to change the material flow direction thereby adding to pressure losses to the system due to impact, friction and re-acceleration. The 90-degree elbow is very helpful in the areas with clearances are an issue.
