ASTM A403 UNS S31254 Buttweld Super Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings are also known as 254 SMO buttweld pipe fittings. These steel fittings have excellent corrosion resistance and combine good mechanical strength. The alloy is ductile and has excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments. 6 Mo (UNS S31254) is a super austenitic stainless steel with a high level of molybdenum and nitrogen, having high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion as well as high strength.
