ASTM A182 F60 chemical composition contains carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, and silicon. ASTM A182 F60 material also contains 3-4 % molybdenum. ASTM A182 F60 duplex stainless steel forged fittings are a type of pipe fittings whicht are widely used in piping systems. These olets are made from duplex steel, which are a combination of austenitic and ferritic stainless steels. ASTM A182 F60 duplex steel forged sockolets have good corrosion resistance, high strength, and excellent weldability. They are commonly used in applications where high pressure, high temperature, and corrosive environments are present.
ASTM A182 F60 Duplex Stainless Steel Forged Sockolet is one of the most common branch fittings, which is welded onto the otlet pipe. The ends are bevelled to facilitate this process. Sockolets are designed to minimize stress concentrations and provide integral reinforcement. There are 3 types of olets: weldolet, threadolet, and sockolet.
