ASTM B111 C12200 Copper Seamless Tube For Condenser
C12200 is a lightly alloyed grade of copper, formulated for primary forming into wrought products. CW024A is the EN numeric designation for this material.
C12200 Copper Tubes are Phosphorus-Deoxidized Copper Tubes that are widely used in sugar refineries for condensers and evaporators. Deoxidized copper tubes are the standard material for transferring heat from steam to water or air due to their excellent resistance to corrosion by fresh water and their high thermal conductivities. C12200 Copper Tubes are not susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement but they have relatively low electrical conductivity because of the amount of phosphorous content.
