ASTM B462 UNS N08020 Nickel Alloy 20 Flange
The Alloy 20 is an austenitic niobium-stabilized alloy that contains nickel and low carbon. The chemical composition of Alloy 20 Flanges mainly includes nickel, chromium, and iron, along with some additional elements like molybdenum and copper. The Alloy 20 Flanges is known for its excellent corrosion resistance, even in harsh chemical environments. The Alloy 20 Pipe Flanges have great resistance capabilities. The ASTM B462 UNS N08020 material is known for its good mechanical properties, even at elevated temperatures.
Alloy 20, also referred as UNS NO8020, is a high alloy steel grade with excellent resistance to sulfuric acid and chloride stress corrosion cracking. This alloy contains nickel, chromium, molybdenum and copper contents which provide excellent general corrosion resistance. Because of good resistance to corrosion, crevice corrosion, and pitting, this alloy is widely used for manufacturing tanks, heat exchangers and pickling equipments.
