F22 is made up of low alloy steel containing 2.25% chromium. The ASTM A182 covers standards specification of rolled and forged material that is used to manufacture different flange types. The ASTM A182 F22 Flanges are designed to used in extreme environments. These flanges have highly resistant to corrosion and can deal with extreme temperatures. They are widely used in connectors, hangers, block valves, and oil patch wellhead applications.
