What is ASTM A 213 T5?
ASTM A213 Alloy Steel T5 Tubing is also known as ASTM A213 T5 chrome moly tube due to the combination of Molybdenum (Mo) and Chromium (Cr). Molybdenum maintains the quality of SA213 T5 Boiler Tube to the greatest extent feasible, including wear resistance, sway properties, and hardenability. T5 steel belongs to the ASTM A213 standard ferritic steel which has good heat resistance and corrosion resistance in hot petroleum media, and has good cold and hot processing performance. Thus, it’s widely used in industrial heat exchangers in petrochemical engineering.
